Project: Database Operations and Maintenance Support
Result:
- Maintained database pre-production and production environments for PeopleSoft HRMS Time & Labor
- Assured the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data to protect public health and safety

Database Consolidation - Developed Cloud Migration Plan as a guide for supporting the FCC modernization and migration.
- Significant contributor to the development of the Data Management Plan (DMP) which serves as a blueprint for FCC Enterprise data management.
- Successfully devised a solution to the DBA on-call notification for iPhone allowing for secure 24/7 notification to the DBA team for production issues.
Federal Communications Commission
Project: Operations and Maintenance
Result:
- Recovery of the Equipment Authorization System (EAS) database after storage infrastructure failure. New databases were stood up, and tested. Once successful, the data was migrated to new production databases.
- Migration of EAS databases from a 4TB to an 8TB capacity. The database was quickly approaching its maximum size of 4TB, which would have resulted in the application ceasing to function.
- Lead a team of Database Administrators in collaboration with the development team to migrate the Electronic Tariff Filing System (ETFS) application from Sybase to Postgres using the Amazon RDS managed database services— migration from a Sybase database to a PostgreSQL database on RDS had not been previously attempted. This proof of concept was tested and successful.
